California residents and residents of other states with applicable privacy legislation (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others) have specific rights regarding their personal information. QuoteHiva honors these rights for all US residents regardless of their state of residence.

You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you our services, charge you different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised your rights under CCPA or any other applicable law.

What Personal Information We May Share

When you submit a quote request on QuoteHiva, we share certain personal information with our network of licensed service providers. The categories of information we may share include:

  • Identifiers (name, email address, phone number, ZIP code)
  • Internet or network activity (pages visited, clicks, referring URLs)
  • Geolocation data (city/state level)
  • Service preferences and quote request details
  • Inferences drawn from the above to create a profile about your preferences

We share this information with pre-screened service providers for the purpose of fulfilling your quote request. We do not sell your information to data brokers, advertisers, or unrelated third parties.

What Happens After You Submit

After receiving your request, we will:

  • Verify your identity — We may ask you to confirm your email address or provide additional information to verify your identity.
  • Acknowledge your request within 10 business days of receipt.
  • Process your request within 45 days. If we need more time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you.
  • Confirm completion — You will receive an email confirming when your request has been fulfilled.

If you opt out of the sale/sharing of your information, we will stop sharing your personal data with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or for purposes beyond fulfilling your direct service request.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide written permission signed by you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us. Authorized agent requests can be submitted via email at privacy@quotehiva.com.
